The Kendra Scott Foundation hosted the unveiling of its Little Yellow Library at Alief Best Elementary School this morning! In celebration of the grand opening, special guest reader and friend of the Houston Rockets, Sheryl Swoopes, joined students for a reading and Q&A!
Best was also awarded a $2,500 grant from the Foundation to continue literacy efforts inside and outside the classroom. Each student received a book and stuffed animal in partnership with Slumberkins.
